Foods to Help Your Hair Grow Faster and Longer

First thing I’ll advise you to do if you want long, healthy hair is to head to the stores and grab the following foods off the shelves because these make all the difference between weak and healthy hair.

Red Meat and Dark greens: I put these together because they basically provide your hair with the same thing – iron – so it’s basically up to you to choose which you’d rather have. Iron strengthens and thickens hair.

Nuts: almonds, peanuts, all other types of nuts, they are rich in zinc which prevents shedding, allowing you to grow strong hair faster and longer.

Beans: beans are great for black men’s hair because they not only supply it with proteins to make it grow faster, they also provide zinc and iron to make it stronger.

Salmon: long, strong hair only grows on a healthy scalp. Salmon is rich in omega 3 fatty acids that hydrate the scalp to achieve exactly that effect.

Oysters: here, oysters are not an aphrodisiac. On the contrary, this delicacy is a great source of zinc, making it perfect if you want your hair not only long but also thick and non-brittle.
Eggs: it doesn’t matter if they are fried, scrambled, boiled or poached; eggs have loads of B vitamins and protein, both which favour hair growth.

Whole foods: whole products, whether oats, cereals or flour, contain a wealth of minerals that promote the healthy growth of long hair, including zinc and iron.
Carrots: carrots don’t just preserve vision, they help the scalp preserve the natural it needs to facilitate the healthy growth of hair.

Avocados: Avocados are the whole package as far as black men’s hair is concerned. You can apply them or eat them, either way, you’ll get a supple scalp and shiny hair.
Low-fat dairy: the casein and whey in low-fat dairy products such as yoghurt make hair long, strong and shiny, even hair as stubborn as black men’s.
